Join Us for a Free Virtual Gathering to Connect, Share, and Grow!
What to Expect:
We’ll kick off the event with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to set the tone for our time together.
Get to know each other with a fun and light-hearted icebreaker to help everyone feel comfortable and connected.
We’ll explore some powerful questions about friendship, community, and personal growth, with opportunities for you to share your thoughts and experiences.
In smaller groups, you’ll dive deeper into meaningful conversations about what you look for in a friend, the importance of community, and ways to build and nurture connections.
We’ll come back together to share highlights from our breakout sessions and reflect on what we’ve learned.
We’ll wrap up with some inspiring closing thoughts and encourage you to stay connected with the wonderful women you’ve met during the event.
We would really love for you to use your video when on these virtual networking events.
We don't care if you don't have makeup on, if you're having a bad hair day, if your dog won't leave you alone, or if you're in your pajamas.
We just want to get to know the real you!
We use Microsoft Teams for these virtual meetings. Most people are familiar with Zoom. Microsoft Teams isn't much different.
1 - Simply go to the meeting invite and select "Join the Meeting Now."
2 - That'll open a web page, where you'll see two choices: Continue on this browser and Join on the Teams app. You don't need to install the Teams app to join the meeting.Â
3 - If you join the meeting on your browser, Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome both work. Your browser may ask if it's okay for Teams to use your mic and camera. When you select Allow, you can always turn off your mic and/or video once you join the meeting.Â
4 - When you're ready, select Join now.

About Your Facilitator
Hi, everyone - I'm Lisa Hinz. I'm a leadership professional by trade. I have a lot of experience speaking and facilitating workshops, webinars, and group coaching sessions. You can find me on LinkedIn to learn more about my professional background (www.linkedin.com/in/lisahinz).
As I get older (in my early 50s), the importance of having community becomes more evident. I see so many posts on social media sites about loneliness and how difficult it is for people to find and make genuine friendships. I've experienced it too.
It's an epidemic. And it's one that I want to help remedy.
When you think of a traditional networking event, it can create a pit in the stomachs of many. What do I say? How do I break into a group that's already talking? How can it not feel awkward?
The reason I'm offering these free virtual gatherings is to give women an opportunity to network in a genuine way without the pressure of a traditional networking event.
How do I do this?
By providing structure to the virtual event.
I facilitate it and engage everyone through an icebreaker activity. I post thought-provoking questions to the group for anyone who wants to answer. I integrate interactive breakout sessions where you're put into a smaller group of women to discuss certain questions. This is where you have a chance to get to know other women on a more personal level. If your group wants to share contact info with eachother, they are free to do so.
